NORTH TO ALASKA 2022

Hello friends and family, and welcome to the blog of our NORTH TO ALASKA 2022 (sans John Wayne). Today (May 1) we leave Bellevue WA, and begin our adventure to Alaska on our boat, “Esperança,” along with our friends David and Shannon on their boat “Lucky Dog.” During the first part of our adventure, we should be able to post pretty regularly, but as we advance into the wilderness farther north, you might see me post a week’s worth of blog all at once.  Our plan this year is a clockwise tour of southeast Alaska, meaning once we reach Ketchikan, we will steer west and hit Sitka, Hoonah, Glacier Bay, Juneau, Petersburg, Wrangell and back to Ketchikan.
