Well now that we are in Canada we can finally stock up on produce! Left Smugglers Cove at 6am this morning and headed into Campbell River where we currently sit on Dock G getting caught up on emails, getting some minor fixes and tweaks, loading up on fuel and other provisions as we prepare to jump off onto the next left of our journey from the north end of Vancouver Island across the Queen Charlotte Straits in a couple of days. From that point on for the next 10 days we will have meager opportunities to reprovision as we enter the inside passage to Alaska. We are all very excited for the next leg. Shannon and David have a guest arriving tomorrow and then we will all be off heading north quickly to catch slack at the Seymour Narrows, a passage that is treacherous just a few hours later when the current is running 12 knots so it's important we are on time. Tonight we are heading to dinner at Koto, a fabulous little sushi place here in Campbell River. Over and out for today.
